Can I customize duct materials and related insulation?

Sure! And, if you want, you can also apply a pressure-drop limit.

How does automatic duct sizing work?

For circular ducts, MECHA automatically calculates the diameter that meets your velocity and/or pressure-drop criteria. For rectangular ducts, you enter one side and MECHA computes the other. If entering one side every time is boring, change values with the mouse wheel: it is much faster! 😉

Our company only uses 25 mm increments for rectangular ducts. Can I set MECHA this way?

Yes! MECHA will determine dimensions while respecting the selected increment multiples.

Can I display psychrometric properties on a Mollier chart?

Of course, yes.

Perfect! Just set maximum velocity to 1.5 m/s and you are done. You can use the mouse wheel to change diameter or use automatic sizing.

The company I am working for uses a proprietary piping set. Can I import it into MECHA?

Sure! MECHA includes a dedicated app for exactly this. That way your sizing stays fully aligned with your client requirements.

Sizing ducts is painful, because I have to enter both sides every time in a spreadsheet.

MECHA is designed exactly for you: enter flow rate, enable automatic sizing, and use the mouse wheel to modify one side while MECHA computes the other. Then you only update flow rate and MECHA recalculates everything!
